Boho style, short for Bohemian, is all about a free-spirited, eclectic, and unconventional look. Think flowing fabrics, vintage finds, natural elements, and unique, handcrafted accessories.

Boho is not merely a style; it is the sartorial echo of a rebellious spirit, born from the heart of counter-culture. Its roots stretching back to post revolutionary France, where  artists, writers, and thinkers, embracing a nomadic, minimalist lifestyle, whilst wearing worn and flowing second hand clothing, a silent protest against the era's strict social norms and opulent fashion.

This spirit of romantic defiance threaded its way through history, evolving over time from the looser more creative styles of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, up to the cultural explosion of the hippie movement in the 1960's and 70's. During this time billowing fabrics, tie-dye and bell-bottoms became all the rage of a generation fighting to break free from the constraints of materialism in favour of a life of peace and freedom.

It was in the early 2000s that boho chic started to hit the mainstream with celebrities  like Sienna Miller and Kate Moss. whos aesthetic became known as ‘boho chic’, a new take on the older styles which mixed vintage vibes with a whisper of modern luxury.
